You are gonna want to check this one out. I have to admit I had never heard of this magazine until I was reading Bright Bazzar (one of my daily reads - an awesome blog!) This magazine will make your mouth water....can't wait till November 15th thier first holiday issue!

I love color but I think there is something to be said about white. Very simplistic. Not fussy. Comfortable. Casual. You get the drift. I'm starting to appreciate white more, I think I'm having a white moment....I'm ok with that.

This post is an Inspiration Post for my friend Britt. She is in the process of buying her first home in Atlanta and we have been talking a lot about decorating. First, anyone who knows Britt knows that her middle name should've been pink. It's kinda like what peanut butter is to jelly, pink is to Brittney. So, with that said its safe to say that pink will need to be incorporated into her decor. Along with pink, I love the idea of black & white stripes along with soft turquoise to really add a sophisticated punch. There are a ton more options to think about, but I think these images really embody who Britt is and what she wants to convey in her first home. Bold, sophisticated, classic, girly living. So, let the journey begin, can't wait to help my friend as she embarks on this next step!

Just received the October issue of Details and I have to say its one of their best in a long time. I'm a huge Mad Men fan ,as well as, Jon Hamm, so I was thrilled when I saw the cover. I think this is one of the best interviews with Jon Hamm I have read. Very honest and open interview about his personal struggle with acting. It was refreshing to here him open up about how hard it was for him to turn something he loved doing into a profitable career. Personally, I think he is the epitome of masculinity and really channels the era of Cary Grant, Rock Hudson and Paul Newman. So be sure and check this interview out....it's a good one.

Well, I'm back at it again! I had the most unbelievable time this past weekend, my best friend was married and had what seem to be a small college reunion. There's something special to be said about picking up where you left off with friends from years ago. Now that I'm back in the swing of things I'm looking forward to some upcoming exciting things for the blog.

Today I wanted to share some beautiful images of a farmhouse in Walton, NY. This article ran in The NYTimes last fall I believe and I have been in love with these images ever since....So, here's to fall...its right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited!
